Labor, delivery and newborn nursing is challenging and wonderful. You will learn how to be a helpful participant in the miracle of childbirth. Your goal is to help make the birth experience of the childbearing family one that is positive for all involved during the entire time that you are at the hospital.
As a childbearing family student nurse, the more you are aware of your responsibilities and available resources, the more you will be able to actively participate in the birth process and newborn care.
