I'm not really sure why I signed up for this abuse, and although I'm sure you've heard this familiar refrain, I shall echo it in my own terms. This list is full of the worst elements the internet has to offer. Here, people with a common interest have come together, but I don't believe that common interest is international auxiliary languages, but rudeness, crankiness, intolerance and argumentativeness. In reflecting, I am not sure if this list serves a legitimate socially acceptable purpose, unless that purpose is to siphon the negativeness away. The problem is it's infectious. I can't assume a positive tone in this kind of letter. While this list has in some respects met my curiosity for information, that information has come in the context of a flame against my belief-system. So I refuse to read through it any more. I will remain a member of the Novial group, because although they do argue, sometimes bordering on rude, the voting procedure is productive and one can sense that something is being accomplished In short, Rick Harrison was dead right.
